  1. There is a field in Ballinlobaun Crossmolina, Co Mayo called Fáilín na Sagart. It is on a rising ground but it is a level piece of ground itself.
    There is a place in the shape of a sandpit in it. It is believed that there was Mass said in it in the Penal times, because the priest could not say Mass in the chapels and they used to say Mass in some quiet place where the priesthunters would not find it out. It is said that Mass used to be said in the sandpit.
