  1. Clothes
    The tailors do not keep cloth in their houses the people buy the cloth for them and they make it. It is shop-cloth the people use now. It was flannel the people used long ago. The people knit stockings around here. The people card and spin the wool themselves. There is a lot of linen wheels around this district. There are not many woolen wheels around here. There are are two woollen wheels round here. The people twist yarn for stocking on the woollen wheel. There are three tailors in my parish:

    2 Tailor Judge
    Near Crossmolina
    3 Tailor O Boyle
    Crossmolina
    The tailors work in their own houses. The people wear black clothes when
