    comes before "Lent"
This is the way the matches were made in this district:- the parents of the boy and girl that are getting married get together in some house and they bring a bottle of whiskey with them and if the match is made the marriage takes place.
After the marriage the young couple go for a drive through the country and this is called the "dragging" home".
The night of the wedding the straw boys come and they dance and and play music.
