    Once upon a time there was a man who used to be out late at night card playing. One night he was out late and as he was coming home he met a lot of people sitting down beside a table playing cards. They asked him to have a game and he said it was too late. At last a big dog came as far as him and said the first person to win the game would get a bag of gold. The dog opened the bag and took from it a mirror. He went behind the other man's back and put the mirror to his shoulder so that the other men would be able to see the other mans card. When they had nearly all won the dog put the mirror into the bag and went away. When they had the game finished the man said it was time to go home. One of the men said he would not let him go that he would have to
