If a cat scrapes there is to be a big wind.
If a wisp is slinging from a hen's tail you will hear of a death.
If you see a spidnantha on the road it is right to put a wish on him.
If you have a pack of cards and cross a ditch they will go on fire, or if you don't have them face to face you will meet the devil.

It is said if you. kill a swan you will hear her frying [crying?] on top of the house for three nights.
It is said that if one sells a house and brings the crane with him he is bringing the luck out of the house.
