  1. A Story

There was once a lad passing by Shraheen School one night on horseback.

There was once a lad passing by Shraheen School one night on horseback. As he was coming near the school a woman appeared before him. He thought it was a neighbour of his so he went harder to catch her, but she kept before him to the school gate where she went into the playground and disappeared. The lad came off the horse and went to the gate to see if it was locked. The gate was locked so the lad came back. As the lad was jumping on the horse the slates of the school began to rattle. The horse took a fright and made off for home with the lad hanging to his mane. When the lad went home he went to bed and did not get up for a long time.
