There was once a house and there lived a man and a women in the house and they went to a fair and these two girls went and stayed in the house that night. So the man and the woman went to the fair the two girls went to bed and they washed a pot of potatoes before they went to bed. They were about to go to sleep when the two doors struck together and horses came in and was eating the potatoes and some thing else rising them up in the bed. The two girls nearly died from excitement and shock. So when they got up in the morning the potatoes were as they were when they went to bed. When the people of the house came they told them what had happened through the night and they only laughed at them.
