  1. Those are some of the cures the the old people have. For a pain in the knee or in the side they put a mustard plaster on it. An ivy leaf put on a cut will stop blood poison. For cold in the eyes wash them in black tea. A foxes tongue will draw out a thorn. Put vinegar on a brown paper and leave it on your head for five minutes is a cure for a pain in the head. Water grass is a cure for a weak heart. Boil mountain sedge and put sugar on it is a cure for the cold.
