    One day when Mike Reilly and I were on the hill we saw three badgers; two young ones and one old one. We had two dogs with us and we made up our mind to kill them. The two young badgers went into the den and they old badger ran to the dogs and went fighting with them. Mike Reilly had a big stick and he struck the badger on the head with the stick and
