    Long ago there was a man living in Achill...

    Long ago there was a man living in Achill and he would go to England every year to earn money. One year he went to England to this Farmer and the farmer asked him did he want some work; the man said he did.
    So the farmer told him to thrash the barn of oats and he did so. He was only a half hour thrashing the barn of oats and he told the man that he had it all thrashed.
    The man did not know what to do with him so he asked him to stay
