    I GOT THE FOLLOWING STORY FROM MARTIN REILLY, BALLYKNOCK, BOFEENAUN: .......
    Many years ago when kings were as plentiful in Ireland as the beggars are now, there lived a poor widow and her only child: she was a delicate daughter.
    She was never asked to do any work.
    The girl grew up to be strong and beautiful and useless.
    She did not wish to know it.
    The poor mother was continually working but never a turn would the daughter do.
