  1. Most of the birds go to Foreign countries for the Winter and come again to Ireland in Spring. Nearly all the birds build their nest in ditches beside drains.
    The Cuckoo never builds a nest; she lays her eggs in the other birds nests.
    When the birds see the Cuckoo's eggs in their nests they throw them out. The birds start building their nests in April.
