  1. Once upon a time there lived a man in Rappa Castle. One night he was in bed and he heard a great noise in the room beneath him. The chairs and tables were dancing round the kitchen. The man went down stairs to see what had happened. When he got down everything was all right. He went up to bed again and he heard the same noise. He came down again and everything was all right. When he was going up to bed again he saw a man going up before him, and he disappeared through the window. So the man never heard the noise again.
