  1. In olden times the people used bread called boxty. The people used to make this bread from raw potatoes. This is the way they made it.
    First of all they got a piece of tin and they put holes in it with a nail. Then they washed the potatoes peeled them, and scraped them into a substance nearly like pulp. They got a cclean cloth and squeezed them until they were very dry.
