  1. The art of making butter was first discovered long ago by the Arabs. They were in the habit of carrying milk in large jars. They discovered a substance on the top of the milk which was after-wards know as butter. The discovery spread into other countries and is now common all the world over.
    Here in Ireland it is a common opration in every farm hour and takes place two or three times a week.
    The milk is placed in a king of vessel know as
