  1. In the olden days the food was different to the food the people use now They used no tea, but they used stirabout and potatoes. They had only three meals a day. They used to eat their food out of a basket which was left on the floor.
    They used to very little meat. Fish they used to eat mostly but on feast-days they used to have a goose and a lot of other things. They did not eat any bread except on special days. They did not eat much meat only fish which they sometimes
