  1. Once upon a time there lived together a little boy and a little girl. Their father and mother were dead. They were living in a little house. Their aunt put them out of the house and sold the land. They went to a forest that was near by. They went in through it and they could not get out.
    They went on and on until they came to the other side. In the distance they saw a beautiful little house. They went towards it. It was made of bread and the windows were made of sugar. The little boy said, "I'll eat the bread and you can eat the sugar." They were just started when an old woman came
