  1. 8th November 1937, My Native district.
My native village is called Lios-na-n-Each. It was so called because in days gone by there was a Lios there on which a lot of horses used to graze. It is situated in the parish of Ballina which was once called Killmoremoy. In this village there are twelve houses and about sixty people. There are a lot of forts in the village. There are no old ruins, rivers or lakes in it. There are hardly any trees in it.
