  1. Once there was a man selling powder for killing fleas. There came a country man up to him and he bought tuppence worth of the powder. He put it in his pocket and said "Tell me now how to work it" "When you see a flea follow him Catch him by the back of the neck Take a little grain of powder and stick it up his nostrels and that's all you have to do "Huh" said the man "Here is your powder back again" because if I caught the flea it isn't powdering him I would be I would give him a good sqeeze beyond powdering him.
