  1. The Ring worm
My brother has the cure for the Ring worm his name is Joe Ruddy and he lives in Ardnaree, and I am his brother Vincent I am the sixth son and he is the seventh and is the youngest in our family.
When he was born there was a worm put into his hand until it died and was [?] thrown out
Then when he was the age of six or seven my mother told him what to do. This is what she told him to do, to rub his hand three times to the soil and make the sign of the Cross and then rub it to the [?] three times and make the sign of the Cross on it. This is to be done on Monday, Thursday and Monday, or Thursday, Monday and Thursday.
