    When you cross over a child you should cross over him again. or. if you dont the child will grown no bigger.
    When you are going to bed at night you should always clean the hearth and leave the tongs across the fire.
    When you are bringing out a child at you should put some salt. in its dress so that the fairies will not take it.
    If a dog cries outside a house it is a sign that someone is going to die in the house.
    If you break a mirror you will have seven years bad luck.
