    48. For piles get nettles and boil them on water. When they are boiled strain them and drink the juice.
    49. For warts get a piece of fat bacon and rub it to the warts. Then bury it and when the bacon rots the warts will rot.
    50. When you get a sting of a bee rub blue to it.
    51. If you have a blieding on your hand put boiled water on it.
    52. If you have a wart on your hand wet a bit of washing soda and rub it on your hand.
    53. If you leg or arm is asleep put three spits on the back of your knee.
    54. If you get a burn with hot water rub (hot) baking soda to it.
    55. For chilblains if you have chilblains squeeze the juice of an onion on it and it will go.
    56. If you have a broken (arm) wrist put aneel skin on it.
    57. A cure for a burn is to rub soap on it.
    58. The is a leaf called buglas and if it is taken in and chopped up fine and squezed through cloth it is a cure for an abcess.
    59. There is a cnadán bush growing in the fields. [?] the roots wash them and boil them an drink the juice and they are a cure for a bad stomach.
