    (1) If you see a blue light in the fire it is the sign of rain.
    (2) When the swallows fly high it is the sign of good weather, when they fly low it is the sign of bad weather.

    (9) When the rainbow is seen it is a sign of rain.
    (10) When the soot is falling down the chimney it is a sign of rain.
    (11) When the curfew cries it is the sign of rain.
    (12) When the seagulls come in on dry land it is a sign of bad weather.
