  1. About 65 years ago a countryman and his wife were coming from town. As they were coming along the road they caught up with a neighbour She was a friend of theirs so they brought her in the cart. When they got to their house they asked her into tea. So they went in and after they had tea the man was bringing the woman home. At Curroy Ballina they heard an awful sound. Next thing they saw about a hundred horses lined in fours coming up the road and a pony following them. The people asked the neighbours did they ever see or hear of them before but they said they didnt So the woman and man went home. They were the only two who saw the scene.
