    It is said there is hidden treasure in Primrose Hill near a cromleac which is to be seen south west of Ballina. Some years ago three men were digging to get the gold. They were told that first they would come to a huge stone flag and that the gold was under that. When they came to the flag they were delighted, It took them a long time to lift it and when they got it up they saw the crock of gold and coiled round it was a serpent which was twenty
