  1. The churn we have at home is made of oak bound by iron hoops. It is about 2½ feet in height round in shape and wider at top and bottom than at the center. The top part which is called the caisin can be seperated from the rest of the rest of the churn by removing the hoop. There are other parts called the lid, the churndash, and
