  1. This man was a great thrasher. He used to go out in the morning, about nine o'clock, on the road side thrashing. He used to leave sixty barts in a ring around him, and about five o'clock he used to have the sixty barts thrashed, and all the straw made up.
    Every one that passed used to be surprised, and he made a lot of money thrashing.
