The Parish Priest purchased a vacant house in Mullagh-na-Croife owned by Thomas McDonagh R.I.P. and they held a school there some time, until the present Templemary School was built. The teachers that taught there was a boy and girl named McHale from Killy-Brone R.I.P. Their father lived in a thatch house beside the Killala road.

  2. All the people around the sea shore fishes from time to time, but John McLoughlin Kilcummin, Carrowmore, Ballina fishes constantly all the year round. He fishes with his own boat, and when he can't go on sea he has a fishing
