    the blood of an Irishman. This young man said he was an Irishman and a better man than he was. And asked him to give him work. He told him he would give him work but if he wouldn't be a better man than him he would have his head on the spear.
    They made a bargin and this boy was to get three chances to see if he was a better man than the Giant or not. The first job was, he had a lot of pigs which were to be carried from one house to the other. Before going to do the work the Giant told his Mother to have the dinner ready when they would come back.
