It is said that there is a pot of gold burried in one of Pat Langans fields in Castlerea Killala. There is a pile of stones and there are trees growing in a circle in a bit from the stones, and a small wall round it. The gold is buried under the stones. It is said that horses were often seen galloping round the trees at late hours of the night.
