    She combed her hair and washed her face. It just struck twelve and the girl lay flat on her back on the ground. She saw the tiny article coming in the door, she closed her eyes and spread out her hands. This article crept over every bit of her body and when it had all its travels done it crept out the door again with out injuring her. When her parents came from Mass they were surprised to see her there before them, and they said everyone should put their trust in God and thank Him for what he does for them.
