Get a dozen big potatoes wash and dry them well. Then get a scraper and scrape them into a baisin. A scraper is an oval shaped piece of tin with several little holes in it.
Catch the scraper in one hand and the potatoe in the other. Rub the potatoe against the scraper until it becomes a frothy mass.Then put the scraped potatoes into a muzlin bag and squeeze the water out of it. Then add flour, salt, and soda and mix it. Then put a little of it into a hot greased pan and let it bake for about a half an hour at least.
