Cows are very useful. They supply the bounty with butter and milk. We have three cows. They have a good deal of milk and supply us with milk and butter for the whole year around.
In summer we churn twice a week but in winter we churn once a week. We use a common churn. It is of a round shape and is about three feet high and is worked with a dash which is struck up and down.
It takes about a half an hour to make a churning. If a person comes in while we are making a churning they usually take the churn a while, because it
