    They have a big den of holes burrowed into the ground are in banks where there are bushes growing. There is a den in the hazel scrub which is growing on Mr John OHaras land in Rathband Killala.
    When people killed a fox they cut out the tongue and preserved it as it was supposed to be good for taking out thorns.
