  1. A fox is supposed to be a very cunning animal and a source of worry to the people who feel uneasy for the safety of their fowl. If a fox enters into a fowl house he will make short work of the hens, ducks, or geese or what ever may be in it.
    He will make sure to have some for his supper. At night they do the most damage. As a rule the people say the foxes never kill much fowl near where they have their den. They are sure to have some fowl to the den for
