    the horse is driven for a couple of miles.
    Thes been done a cuple times the horse becomes handy. Then a big long rein is put in only on one side of the bit the horse is brought into a field and made go round in a circle so as to make it still handier as naturally enough it is awkward for some time until it becomes used to it.
    Then it is ridden and is given a good gallop. It is harnessed and put to the cart. If it is difficult to manage a kicking traces is put on it. A good ash plant is got and made
