  1. Once upon a time there lived a tinker in Ballycastle. Their was a son born to him but he had not the money to pay for his christening so he went up to the Worth to earn the money. She hired at a man who would not keep him any less than seven years.
    He agreed to wait for seven years and when the seven years were up the master asked him which would he take an advice or his wages. He said he would take the advice although he wanted the wages. The advice that he gave him was never to go a near [?] while he had the road. So he agreed to stay seven years more
