  1. Another human skeleton has been found in Mr. Michael Carroll's sand pit Ballyduane. The skeleton is that of a man of small statue and in a remarkable state of preservation.
    The teeth in the scull are intact the bone were there in there place outlining the body incased in a stone coffin within about a foot in depth of the surface of the quarry.
    It reminds us of the bitter past was he a great chieftian that died in battle and was buried there or perhaps he may be some poor fellow that died of
