  1. One time a man was out fishing and another man put up his head and told him that he would give any gifts he would like. The man said that his wife was always wanting to be rich and the man of the sea said to go home, that his wish was granted and he did and they had plenty of money. The next gift she wanted was to have a castle along with the money and her husband went down to sea and got the gift from the man that told him. When she had that a while she wanted to get another gift and that was him to be a king and her to be a queen. The husband went down to the sea and he told the man and he told him to go home that his wish was granted. When he came in right pf the house he seen the wife in the door of the thatched house and was crying.

  2. There was a great big house owned by a rich lady and anybody that would go caretaking in it would be killed. A certain man said he did not care that he would go and he did. about ten clock at night he was reading a book and he heard a noise upstairs. He looked up and he seen a horse coming down and he padding away. after the horse a bull came and he passed on too. Then a coffin came slipping down the stairs and it was left behind him on the table. He heard a voice say 'come take away this coffin' and he took it and fired it down.
