    Once upon a time there lived a man in Kilcummin and he was very rich. His name was Jack Mc Andrew. He owned all the land in Kilcummin in his day. He owned a great number of cows, horses and drovls [?] of sheep.
    He had seven sons. They were not very wise, and their father was in great trouble about them.
    He made up his mind one day to divide the farm to give to each of them his own divide.
    He divided the farm and he gave to each one of them his own divide. He divided the cattle, horses, and sheep amongst them. They got on all right for some time. They wanted money and
