    was an end put to those fairs because the buyers started to go around through the parishes buying animals and then not many people used to come to the fair and in the end there was no fair atal held in the country.
    The men used to be looking forward to the fair day because that was the only day of the year they enjoyed. Sometimes the men would not return home from the fair till the next morning.
