    Before Mrs. Boyd taught in that the Alexandras of Mullafarry taught in it and before them a family known as the Brannigans taught there.
    The school is only a few hundred yards from the Coast Guard station in Kilcummin but is now used as a stable and belongs to one of the families who live in the houses which were once known as the Coast Guard station and is yet.
