    of the parishioners knocked down that wall not by the priests consent for he did not use this door any longer. The Colonel got it built again, and it remained so for several years.
    Then on one day the Colonel was passing up the Carrowmore road in his carriage. The parish priest had being out at that time along with some men he had mowing hay, along the road when the Colonel passed. He looked out at the Colonel and said "That's a road he will never come again".
