  2. Once upon a time there lived a great flute player in Carrowcur, Ballycastle, Co. Mayo. His name was Martain Doherty. One Sunday he was out on Down Patrick Head. There were a few flute players amongst the crowd. He began to admire the flutes and begged them to teach him how to play it. He used to put the wrong end of the flute in his mouth.
