  1. one evening late William Bourke, Carrownaden, Ballycastle, Co, Mayo. was coming from Ballina. As he was coming through Lacken he saw a flock of very small men. They were counting money on a white sheet. The little men did not see him for a long time. When they saw him they told him to turn away his head. He did so and when he looked again they were all gone.
