  1. Friday is a very luckly day to begin any kind of work. People rarely start work on a Monday as they call it an unlucky day. People, who want to get any kind of cures always get them on a Monday or a Thursday. If people want to remove any furniture from an old house to a new one they always do it on a Friday. Those born on Whit Sunday are always supposed to be cross. Farmers like to start ploughing on a Friday.

  2. The Riabach Days are the two last days of March and the first two days of April. Those days are so called because there was an old cow long ago and when the two last days of March had passed she thought the bad weather was gone.
