  1. When Our Lord was crucified it is said that a robin came and rested on His wound. When the robin flew away there was blood on his breast and that is why the robin has a red breast.
    It is said that a donkey is a very lucky animal because he carried Our Lord.
    It is also said that a mule is an unlucky animal because he refused to carry Our Lord.
    There are two marks on the haddocks back like finger prints. It is said that it is the mark of Our Lord's two fingers because he caught a hold of it in his hand.
