  1. It is supposed to be unlucky to invest the price of sheep in cattle or of goats and pigs in sheep. Money got for eggs is supposed to be the luckiest money at all.
    It is thought money got from clergyment and invested in stock is not lucky. The first animal life is supposed to come from fishes
    A goose or gander hisses like a serpaent, and its eyes resemble the snakes. The best time to set eggs hatching when it is flowing for male birds and when its standing for hens. Eggs are never bought for selling but swapped, also they wouldn't be lucky to give away the clutching hen means giving your luck away. The fowls in the west here answer with equal alacrity if called in English or Irish
