Potatoes are grown on our farm at home. There are about two acres of land under potatoes each year. The amount never varies. A good year yields a good crop, and a bad year yields a bad crop. My father prepares the ground for the potatoes.
He turns it up in the month of March. He harrows it and makes ridges of it with the plough. Wooden ploughs were used long ago. Some people
