  1. It is said that any man who licked a "Lizzard" that he has a cure for a burn in his tongue ever afterwards.
    Ring-worm
    If there are seven sons born in succession the last one is supposed to be a doctor. When such as child is born, a live worm is placed in its hand and kept there till it dies. Ever afterwards such a child cures Ringworm, Evil, and many other such diseases by applying his hands on the affected part.
